Gargrave has a few cosy country pubs and cafe , some quaint antique shops, a co-op supermarket, and the all important hairdressers for the ladies. Gargrave has a spring water clear river running through it where you can find the ducks who enjoy being fed !!

The village has its own train station and 10 minutes up the road is Skipton railway station giving access to Leeds on a 30 minute train ride. The roads to the village of Gargrave are of good access.

For those who enjoy walking there is The Offers Dyke walk and literally 5 mins walk from the Park is the Liverpool / Leeds Canal which can take you to Skipton or into Lancashire.

The 4 star Conniston Hotel is a 5 minute drive up the road where 4 x 4 driving can be found, shooting, archery, falconry and a number of restaurants. The Devonshire Arms Hotel at Bolton Abbey is 15 minutes drive away and is owned by Lord Devonshire, it has the tourist attraction of the historical Bolton Abbey together with a bistro and fine dining. For those who would like afternoon tea after a walk around this area there is the Pavillion where you can sit and enjoy a roaring fire.
